This book actually came into my reading list as an interruption. Usually books are one of the main things that distract me from reading. I can&#8217;t seem to focus. There is a reason that we put blinders on a plow horse.\u00a0 The minute I started reading this book I enjoyed it.<\/p>\n<p>On the\u00a0 ease to read scale (<em>wind through a hammock <\/em>being a 1 to <em>impossible <\/em> being a 10) it was a 2. This book also falls into one of my favorite categories and that is a page turner. The story is funny and quickly paced.<\/p>\n<p>A Walk in the Woods is a guy&#8217;s journey down the Appalachian Trail. Bryson&#8217;s story telling ability is what makes this book it has a folk tale feel. You will laugh so hard that you will cry if you read this book.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t a travel book and it&#8217;s not a mountaineering epic instead this is a quirky statement on real people having an outrageous time outside.\u00a0 I highly recommend it.<\/p>\n<p>If this post seems boring I am sorry. I read the book a while ago and I don&#8217;t want to give away the funnies. I will continue writing poorly until my writing becomes better.
